Overview: Tobin & Sons Moving and Storage, Inc. was awarded the Cell Signaling project after an intense screening process. The project involved the relocation of a protein, research, manufacturing facility and moving 170 people from an 80,000 s.f. facility.
The complexity of the project was compounded by the need to hoist equipment through a window during a snow storm. A portion of the project called for relocation of their entire freezer farm, which encompassed a significant number of -80 freezers moving on specialized vehicles. Our management team that prepared our proposal, conducted a number of on site visits and planning meetings, and was there on moving day to orchestrate the plan, ensuring a successful relocation project.
